Your documents: client-side processing only
Files you open with this tool are read by your browser using the File API and handed directly to two JavaScript libraries: PDF.js for text extraction and page rendering, and pdf-lib for copying pages into a new file. Both run inside the same browser tab as the page itself. At no point does the file, or any text extracted from it, get sent over the network to a server. There is no upload request to intercept, because none exists in the code. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the network panel, and load a PDF. You will see the page's own scripts and fonts, and nothing resembling your document.
Because processing never leaves your device, no one operating this site, including its developer, can see, access, or retain a document you process here. Closing the tab or reloading the page discards the file and any extracted text immediately; nothing persists in browser storage between visits.
Information we collect
We do not ask for a name, an email address, or an account to use the tool. We do not operate analytics that identify you personally, and we do not build a profile of your usage. Standard web server logs, generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure that serves this page, may record an IP address, browser type, and requested page for security and reliability purposes, the same baseline logging almost every website on the internet performs. That log entry is unrelated to whether, or how, you use the tool itself.
Advertising and cookies
This site displays advertising served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting google.com/settings/ads. You can opt out of third-party vendor cookie use for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent notice before personalised advertising cookies are set, and may change or withdraw that consent at any time.
Advertising is limited to fixed, clearly labelled slots around the tool. It is never placed inside the tool itself, and never in a position that could be mistaken for a control.
Third-party services
Scripts, stylesheets, and fonts are loaded from public content delivery networks (including Google Fonts and cdnjs), which necessarily receive your IP address in order to respond to those requests. This is separate from, and unrelated to, document processing. These providers operate under their own privacy policies.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
